Football rumours: Ronaldo demands ‘immediate’ exit from Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to travel to England to tell Manchester United he wants out “immediately”, report The Sun. The Portuguese star, 37, is set to speak with the Red Devils after missing the club’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia for ‘family reasons’.

The Guardian, meanwhile, writes Chelsea transfer for Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde is in “danger of collapsing”. The newspaper report that Barcelona are refusing to end their pursuit of the 23-year-old defender and are ‘increasingly optimistic’ about the possibility of signing the France international.

In other Blues news, Metro reports via Foot Mercato that the club have offered the German striker Timo Werner26-year-old to RB Leipzig to beat Paris St Germain to sign France defender Nordi Mukiele24 years old, from the Bundesliga club.

And West Ham have reportedly agreed personal terms with the Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca. According to The Guardian, the 23-year-old would need to pass a medical to complete a move worth £35.5million.
